Annual Appeal 22-23

Dear Friends,  It was wonderful to see so many of you on screen and in person this year.

Throughout the year we awarded grants, scholarships, exhibition awards, held modeling competitions (and gave more awards!) and hosted virtual programs. Attendance was high at our June Sculpture Conference, held on the grounds of the Chesterwood property in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. You can read about some of these programs in Sculpture Review, co-edited by NSS Board members Robin Salmon and Gordon Alt.

Next year will include all of these opportunities, events, and more. In 2023, NSS is introducing two new Sculptor Residencies with cash prizes and launching the Augusta Savage Grant for Excellence.

Our board, staff, and committees are working to support Sculpture and the Sculpture Community year-round. We are grateful for your participation, ideas and contributions. Thank you.

Your tax-deductible gift to the annual fund will support ongoing programs and new initiatives in the coming year. Please help! A gift in any amount will make a difference.

I look forward to seeing more of you in the New Year and send you my best wishes for a joyous holiday season.
