Christine Knapp

On September 18th, 2025, the Cheyenne Children’s Museum unveiled a 5-foot tall Dino Totem. Created by sculptor Christine Knapp, the playful piece depicts a fearless cowboy riding atop a Pachycephalosaurus, while a daring cowgirl slides down the tail of the Triceratops. The sculpture honors Wyoming’s frontier past as well as its ancient past when the dinosaurs depicted actually roamed Wyoming. “To date, this sculpture was the most fun to design,” Knapp said. “It is so whimsical and promotes creativity and fun for children.”
