Cynthia Consentino Book of Art Published

Cynthia Consentino recently had a book of her sculpture published by Primedia Elaunch LLC. The eponymously titled book contains 185-pages and is illustrated with images of the Shelburne, MA artist’s ceramic work and paintings. Consentino teaches at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the Art Department. She is a recipient of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, American Craft Council, The Society of Arts and Crafts, Berkshire Taconic and The Blanche E. Colman Artist Awards. She has been a resident artist at the John Michael Kohler Arts/Industry Program, Oregon College of Arts and Crafts, La Napoule Foundation, France, and Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, Japan.  Consentino’s stoneware rabbit-headed woman, Nude, (featured on the cover of her book) was exhibited in NSS’ 76th Annual Awards Exhibition.
