Sculptor Dan Burgette recently won the Ward’s Foundation’s Living Legends Award and Best in Show for Non-Wood Sculpture at the Ward World Wildfowl Carving Championship.  His winning entry was his bronze long-eared owl, Paying Attention.  The show was on exhibit April 21-23 at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, MD.
