Harriet Tubman – Journey to Freedom by Wesley Wofford, FNSS travels to Philadelphia

On January 11, Wesley Wofford’s monumental tribute to Harriet Tubman, Journey to Freedom, arrived in Philadelphia, PA.  Situated in front of City Hall, Philadelphia will be hosting the sculpture through March 31 and on view during Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and Harriet Tubman’s 200th birthday. The traveling monument represents Harriet Tubman’s travels to free hundreds of enslaved people. Wofford’s over-life-size bronze of the Freedom Fighter has been on tour around the country since 2020.
