John Svenson, Honorary Fellow of National Sculpture, passed away in early April 2016.  Svenson is well known for his wood carvings, including Ranchero, the towering wood figure outside the art building of the Los Angeles County Fair.  Read more about Svenson.

Ron Beuzenburg, elected Sculptor Member of National Sculpture Society, passed away in late March 2016.  Beuzenburg explored the theme of dance and dancers in his work, as well as creating a series of jesters.  Read more about Beuzenburg.
