Liam O’Connor Wins Richard H. Driehaus Prize
Architect Liam O’Connor is the recipient of the 2025 Richard H. Driehaus Prize from Notre Dame. O’Connor was recognized in honor of his lifelong dedication to and outstanding achievements in creating distinctive private, public and civic projects. O’Connor is the head of Liam O’Connor Architects and Planning Consultants in London, England.
Liam O’Connor is a three-time recipient of National Sculpture Society’s Henry Hering Art and Architecture Award for his work on the British Normandy Memorial in Normandy, France (2022); the RAF Bomber Command Memorial in London, England (2023); and the Armed Forces Memorial in Litchfield, England (2024). The Hering Award is presented as the occasion warrants for outstanding collaboration among architect, owner, and sculptor in the distinguished use of sculpture in an architectural project.
