On Sunday, June 14, 2026, NSS Fellow Meredith Bergmann will have an unveiling of her newest work, Inspiration in Fitchburg, VA.  The two-figure monument depicts NASCAR driver Ron Bouchard (1948-2015) and a young boy who idolizes him and dreams of becoming a race car driver too.  Bouchard grew up in Fitchburg and his biggest win was the Talladega 500 in 1981.
