Michael Keropian, FNSS will be teaching at Silvermine Arts Center (New Canaan, CT).

Michael is teaching an ALL LEVEL course this summer, ‘Creating an Accurate Portrait in Clay.’ In the class, students will start with building a proper armature, taking measurements, establishing proportions and understanding the basic structure and anatomy of the head. He will also provide information about using photographs, understanding various sculptural styles of creating a likeness, and share some history of portraiture through the ages. The class will take place July 6 through August 24, 2023 at Silvermine.

Michael Keropian (Michael Keropian Sculpture LLC) is a professional sculptor for over 40 years. He is the Sculpture Chairperson for the Hudson Valley Art Association. His monument of Sachem Daniel Nimham, dedicated in June 2022, is in Fishkill, NY.
