RTIA 2024 Exhibition Opens in Reno, NV

National Sculpture Society (NSS) in partnership with Reno Tahoe International Art Show (RTIA) is pleased to present the Northern & Southern California Community Exhibition at the RTIA Show in Reno, NV.  The show features the work of NSS Community members from California, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Arizona and will be on view from September 12 – 15.

Coordinated by NSS Northern California Community Representative Lance Glasser, the show features work in a variety of media and sizes — including monumental — inside the Reno Sparks Convention Center. This is the second year the NSS Community has exhibited with RTIA. NSS Fellow Mark Edward Adams served as curator for the show.

The NSS Ambassador Community Program is an initiative that is helping the organization reach an expanded audience of sculptors across the country on a grass roots level. Each community serves as a resource for NSS members, interested artists, and the public. Ambassadors are the primary contact for each NSS Community, in collaboration with the NSS offices in New York City. Each ambassador reaches out to local sculptors and helps facilitate communication and opportunities for the members of their group. Ambassadors also share information about NSS programs, such as educational workshops and classes, exhibitions, publications, prizes and awards, and other opportunities that encourage sculptors and promote sculpture.

Artists included in the RTIA Show are Manuelita BrownErik Ebeling, Lance Glasser, Geoffrey Nelson, Heather Rison, Judy Salinsky, Jun Yan and Dong Yang.

The Reno Tahoe International Art Show is a fine art fair entering its third annual event following a successful inaugural debut in 2022. The RTIA Show 2024 takes place September 12-15 and encompasses 160,000 square feet of exhibition space, featuring over 200 curated independent fine artists, 60 galleries and features, RTIA Talks, the RTIA Awards, and Cordillera Film Festival and the Reno Rising outdoor co-located Music Festival set for 6,000 participants.
