In late July 2023, Sherwin Banfield’s sculpture was moved  from the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn Borough Hall.  Banfield’s homage to Brooklyn’s hip-hop legend, Biggie Smalls (1972-1997), and titled Sky’s the Limit in the County of Kings now resides in the downtown area of the NYC borough. The sculpture not only honors the rapper, but his stainless-steel body has solar-powered speakers that sound out a playlist of his hits. The 9-foot tall sculpture also pays tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop music.
